Sorry, I do not recall ever reading about the RaQ2 systems not having keyboards. How do you do the initial network setup upon delivery of these machines? > The work is the same as it is for the normal LFS book, actually it's > simplier. C'mon Jim, you don't have to sell the product to me. You can't be serious that it is easier to update the x86, x86_64, ppc, etc, etc, books instead of just one book. There is more work involved. I've downloaded the sources, examined them and see the rendering procedures. It is not easier. You have more updates to more books to do the same thing as before. How can you possible say it is more simple? > You should probably look at the complete finished book before making > comments, I think > it would give you a better understanding. I have been following the -dev list and all the commits. I feel I have a good understanding of the procedure. What I don't understand is your comment about "look at the complete finished book". Is that to mean I must wait until you release a stable version of the book before it is understandable? If so, then this book shouldn't even be discussed at this time. I am providing comments, you say I shouldn't comment. Please, let me know when the book is mature enough that I may comment on it. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 00:28:00 up 56 days, 1 min, 2 users, load average: 0.04, 0.28, 0.28 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
