That's nice. I really like it. :)
However, I'm not sure if we should go about changing what we have on
beta. For my own personal site there's a *lot* of design elements that I
would do differently than we've done on the beta site. Anyone who's ever
seen any of the various stages of jenacon.net would know that I like to
try to do visually impressive things (when I actually get around to
working on it!).
But for the LFS site, it seems much harder to do that sort of thing,
mostly because no one can ever agree on what exactly looks nice. Just
look at the varied comments we're getting on beta. ;) That's why the
design for the new site has been kept so simple, (white background,
sparse colors, simple css stylings) so that the focus is on fuctionality
and readability.
