Dear List,
before I spread any more confusion:
my last message was entirely wrong. Grovelling
apologies. After correcting a
silly mistake (which led to me using the wrong
glibc) I still see the problem I reported
earlier. That is, building LFS-6.1-pre1 but
with glibc-2.3.5 rather than glibc-2.3.4
giveas a broken version of gawk-3.1.4 .
Everything in the build was done with
gcc-3.4.3.
