Divide and conquer. The first problem is using gcc-4 to compile a gcc-3.4 system. It would seem that the 2 easiest paths to follow are a) use an x86_64/gcc3 system for the host, or b) use the gcc4 branch (minor tweaks may be needed for x86_64). -- Archaic Want control, education, and security from your operating system?
