Hi all,
i was doing the udev_update branch of the lfs book, and in chapter 5,
in the install part of ncurses 5.5, i get an error, i don't get the
cause, so if someone could help me, i would be thankful.
this is the part that fails:

You may see messages regarding extended capabilities, e.g., AX.
These are extended terminal capabilities which are compiled
using
tic -x
If you have ncurses 4.2 applications, you should read the
INSTALL document, and install the terminfo without the -x option.

So that you know, i did deviate from the book, and installed both gcc-4.1.0 and
glibc 2.4, other than that i followed the instructions on the book and applied
the correct version of the patch to gcc.
