As far as I can see the commands to configure and to install are the same.
Only: chmod -v 755 /usr/lib/libl*-2.3.so.0.2.15 and the docdirectory should of course become: /usr/share/doc/openldap-2.3.27 And after upgrading the dir with the schema files is moved: /etc/openldap/schema -> /etc/openldap/schema-**** and a new schema dir is created. The schema files I use (samba.schema and sudo.schema) have to be copied to this dir.
