Sure. It's really just one developer, Stephen Hemminger. I sent him a patch a while back on one of the kernel net mailing lists. It was so the directory to the iptables modules isn't hardcoded to /usr/local/lib/iptables. After about 3 months he responded and fixed it (sort of, that's still the default, but you can set IPTABLES_LIB_DIR at runtime).
