I am trying to use (I hope with success) pacman. As far as worked, it seems to fit very well with my way of doing things I am eloborating some packages with pacman and drive the overall process with nALFS (I apologize, I can't get away of it) If I am not too slow, I will publish my results, if someone is interested, but I lack time then don't be impatient
my purpose is to obtain a kind of distro than can be updated and managed throught a web interface, then there's is a lot of work. For the time of writing, I have nearly all packages made in pacman way, a xmlrpc server to manage configuration files ( a part of) and a web interface (in the eGroupware framework) to interact with the xmlrpc server. I hope to achieve all of this in the respect of the KISS statement but I still have a long way to go.
