Oh, I see what you mean though, if we build the minimal perl in chapter 5 we can use that for the chapter 6 glibc and linux-headers (like we already do) and not worry about perl in chapter 6. Sorry I'm a bit slow today. Still, I'd be interested in seeing what it would take to remove perl completely from LFS.
