The site that we use for shadow has been down for some time. The
package is available at
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/s/shadow/as
shadow_4.1.5.1.orig.tar.gz (thanks Armin). We use a .bz2 version, but
the contents of the tarballs are the same.

I did find https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-shadow/, but clicking
on the Home Page link gives 'Forbidden'.

I also noticed several patches that Debian makes to shadow
(shadow_4.1.5.1-1.diff.gz).

The questions are:

1. Should we change the book to point at the currently available
address or wait a while to see if the alioth site comes up?

Note 1: If we change the package name, it may break jhalfs without
removing the .orig that Debian uses.

Note 2: We could just point to anduin for the package.

2. Debian has a set of patches. Should we inverstigate using them?
AFAIK, the current package is working well. I hesitate to 'fix'
something that works.
