I made sure my host system met all the requirements before running,
and I saw the same error.
I build from a previous version of LFS. Curious that I do not see the
problem. What result do you get from:
$ awk --version | head -n1
I get
GNU Awk 4.1.3, API: 1.1 (GNU MPFR 3.1.2-p11, GNU MP 6.0.0)
