Well the first thought that sprang to mind was to buy a new hard drive. But
would a new drive work with an old machine? Hard drives are useful things so it
wouldn't go to waste I'm sure.
The second thought was, have you tried Lilo? I prefer Grub, its never let me
down, but if you must, try Lilo.
