I have built LFS 6.1, and compiled the kernel without module support as recommended. However, when the system boots I get several errors that appear to be coming from the hotplug scripts complaining about missing modules. Most of the messages scroll of the screen, but I can see this much:
Opening /proc/modules: no such file or directory modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.11.12/modules.dep: No such file or directory ./hotplug.functions: line 113: /lib/modules/2.6.11.12/modules.isapnpmap: No such file or directory Is this "normal" behavior of the bootscripts or am I missing something in my configuration? - Joe -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
