Hey all........lfs-6.1 is booted and running. I think the real learning
begins as I try to "see" in a non-gui environment. If anyone is in the
mood to answer a few basic questions, my feelings will not be hurt. How
bout some of you new(er) guys, who still remember the pain.

1) a lot of errors about hotplug not being able to load libraries during
boot. 2) it appears that root does not have a .bash_profile and .bashrc file
any tips would be helpful
3) earlier bash was not able to find "shutdown" i finally found it in
sbin.......PATH, i believe should establish the search directories.

Any tips to lessen the steep slope, are always appreciated!

here come the tips......

1.) are you sure its library errors and not complaints about distmaps ?
2.) create a .bash_profile .bashrc etc, use example off the livecd, or look at the blfs book, or try some setup of your own if you feel up to it
3.) set the path in your .bash_profile.

good luck.
