That's useful! It would be nice if the book documented that (a) the
annexc.out test is expected to fail, (b) the critical test is whether
you see "make: *** [check] Error 2" at the end. Would it help if I
submitted a bug and/or proposed some text?
Thanks for the help (though not for the grumpiness).
Mostly, the book expects a lot of experience, so I imagine some of the
editors might look unfavourably on this. Feel free to bug it and
suggest text if you want to.
Oh, and the grumpiness mostly comes from playing with other
architectures and glibc snapshots, it isn't anything personal.
