Dhaval Motghare, no flame, but before making a blanket statement about a lack of standards you should use google/linux and do a search, here is exactly what you complain about not existing:
http://www.linuxbase.org/ a standard for all linux distros to meet. lfs will never meet it, neither will slackware, as both do not reply on a package management system. ( LSB does require RPM support ) but the base system, and filesystem layout is there in all distributions.
