Nelson, Please don't top-post. Read the FAQ about netiquette if you don't understand what this means: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/index.html#netiquette Now, in Googling tst-clock2.out, this error seems to be fairly common for glibc-2.3.4. I believe the host has affects on the testing, and I got this same failure when building on Fedora Core 3. I would move on if I were you. Your glibc is functional enough. If you're really concerned, keep the glibc source and build directory. After you've finished building glibc and have booted your system up, re-run the glibc tests. My suspicion is that the problems are being caused by your host (FC3) and running the tests on your new host (LFS) will clear up this issue. Also, have you used any optimization flags when building glibc? Particulary, did you set -march? -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
