I'm using package users to install LFS 6.1.1 and I found that the
wrapper script for mkdir does not change the group of
/usr/share/locale/* as documented in the hint. Specifically, I created a
packages user glibc, su'ed to that user, cd'ed to /usr/share/locale and
issued the following command:
/usr/lib/pkgusr/mkdir zz
To my surprise, both the owner and group of zz is glibc. This is not the
intended behaviour, is it?
P.S.
The owner and group of /usr/share/local are root and install respectively.
My shell interpreter is bash.
I have attached the mkdir wrapper.
Nowhere in the hint does it say anything about exactly what the mkdir
wrapper does, and it certainly doesn't say it changes the group. Perhaps
you're thinking of the "install" wrapper?
