Hi Alberto:
my gcc is 4.03
my nvidia driver is 1.0-8774
my kernel is 2.6.16.27
Looking at the nvidia website, they specify that the nvidia driver must
be compiled with the same version of gcc as you used to build your kernel.
Also, here is a link that shows the minimum software required for the
nvidia driver:
