Over at http://ftp.pld.org.pl/software/shadow/ there appears to be a strangely numbered patch i.e. shadow-4.0.18-4.0.18.1.patch.bz2 is this to upgrade version 4.0.18 to version 4.0.18.1 ? If so its no good since that's what I've already got. Another thought is to install shadow-4.0.15 over 4.0.18.1, would this work or would I have to do a 'make uninstall' on version 4.0.18.1 first? Would there also be any any potential problems with using either of these methods? Thanks in advance.
