Hi all,

i'm not sure i should post on this mailing list but i don't know where
to send my request.

I'm building an LFS system based on the last stable release but i'm
using the latest version of each needed package. I'm working on Fedora
Core 6 x86.

I have successfully built the temporary system. For each package, i
don't have run the "make check" command.
Now, i'm building the final system and the "make check" failed on
glibc-2.5. Here is a "grep Error" on the make check results:

make[3]: *** [/usr/src/glibc-build/dlfcn/bug-atexit3.out] Error 1
make[2]: *** [dlfcn/tests] Error 2
make[3]: [/usr/src/glibc-build/posix/annexc.out] Error 1 (ignored)
make[3]: *** [/usr/src/glibc-build/nptl/tst-robust8.out] Error 1
make[3]: *** [/usr/src/glibc-build/nptl/tst-cancel1.out] Error 1
make[3]: *** [/usr/src/glibc-build/nptl/tst-cancel24.out] Error 127
make[3]: *** [/usr/src/glibc-build/nptl/tst-tls4.out] Error 1
make[2]: *** [nptl/tests] Error 2
make[1]: *** [check] Error 2

Are these tests really important ?

I have to add that i build my system on a xen virtual machine. Perhaps
my problem comes from here ? I have applied some patches tro my kernel
(grsecurity, imq, layer 7, route for loadbalancing), perhaps it comes
from here ?

I'm not specialist on glibc so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Ludovic.
