go for something really lightweight, like.. bash :D
I'll have to ask Chad for those guis he has been looking at, he has
found a couple that make XFCE look like bloatware.
his personal favorite doesn't even have mouse support by default, and
the executable is under 5 MB. [ rebuild your gui to change configuration
may not be for everyone though. ]
