I think I'm going to start over. LFS-6.3 and a daily snapshot of BLFS you say? Sounds good! I usually only build fresh from the LFS LiveCD and an empty hard disk. I never thought to look at the config for it, maybe I'll check it out - thanks for the advice. Any particular version of the CD? This last build I performed using lfslivecd-x86-6.3-r2052. I didn't try to automate it, which may have been my downfall as sometimes we're known to be sloppy in following directions (:-o).
