Several years ago, I built lfs on a dec alpha with a pci card that had both usb and firewire. As I recall, once I manually loaded the right module (ohci, as I recall), it ran fine. ------Original Message------ From: brown wrap Sender: lfs-support-boun...@linuxfromscratch.org To: lfs-support@linuxfromscratch.org ReplyTo: LFS Support List Subject: Is anyone using a PCI card for USB Sent: Mar 15, 2010 12:42
I could never figure out how to get my USB ports to work. I tried numerous kernel configurations and none of them would fly. I just moved on to other things so I could proceed with LFS. Now I'm in BLFS and it would be nice to log in directly from the console, instead of ssh'ing in. Has anyone purchased a USB card that they installed and got to work? -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
