System : LFS 6.6 64 bit on a USB 4GB stick
Host used: lfslivecd-X86_64-6.3-r2160 (using source packages from LFS 6.6)

I'm getting the "FATAL:" messages listed below every time I boot and I can't
find out why. There are a lot more of them but they scroll off the screen so
fast that I can't read them.

FATAL: Module pci:v00001022d00001103sv00000000sd00000000bc06sc00i00 not found.
FATAL: Module input:b0011v0002p0005e0000_e0,1,2,k110,111,112,r0,1,8,amlsfw not
found.
FATAL: Module pci:v00001022d00001102sv00000000sd00000000bc06sc00i00 not found.
FATAL: Module
input:b0003v0458p301Ce0100_e0,1,3,4,k120,121,122,123,ra0,1,6,m4,lsfw not found.

The messages do not appear in /var/log/sys.log or /var/log/kern.log neither do
they appear when I run dmesg.

So the first question is, is there a way of capturing messages that don't
appear in any log files?

I always build a monolithic kernel first off, to avoid problems with modules so
I don't know why it is complaining about missing ones.

I can still boot to a command line, I can mount my Windows partition and my
Mandriva partition. I can also mount other USB sticks. I have also installed
GPM and lynx from BLFS svn-20100325 without any problems.

I also have a LFS 6.4 system (32 bit) and have run the diff command on the
/etc/rc.d/init.d/modules files and on the /etc/sysconfig/modules files on both
systems and there are no differences and I don't get any FATAL: messages in my
LFS6.4 system.

So the second question is, has anyone got any idea what's happening here and
can I ignore it or is there anything else I can look at or do to sort this out?

Thanks,
Gary
