Is this one of those "ignore" errors, or are there problems afoot?

This doesn't look like any config.log I've seen, it doesn't look any
different from your email, ie, the output from running configure.
config.log is a file in the same folder that you were in when you ran
configure. Where were you up to in the book when you got this error?
The second pass of gcc?

MyBad, Sorry for the noise.
As you see from my original post, the error was for the 'make' command, not 'configure'.
This is on the first pass. Just getting started. :0
The log I posted to paste.ubuntu was taken from /mnt/lfs/gcc_build/config.log.
There was no log in gcc-4.5.1 directory.

I reran the make command and it completed without error, and used sudo make install,
and it completed without error.
So will continue on my journey.
