Hallo, just a question for better understanding of chapter 5.
Binutils pass 1 creates the directory /tools/iX86-*lfs*-linux-gnu. Binutils pass 2 creates the directory /tools/iX86-*pc*-linux-gnu.
Related to their configure options - does it mean that the pass 2 processes of binutils and gcc are the only ones which needs the /tools/iX86-*lfs*-linux-gnu directory? And all later on packages of chapter 5 are using the directory of pass 2?
