I've got no idea why this doesn't work for me, *./configure --prefix=/usr \* * --enable-thread-safe \* * --docdir=/usr/share/doc/mpfr-3.1.1* which gives me the error message *error: libgmp not found or uses a different ABI.* But *./configure --prefix=/usr \* * --enable-thread-safe \* * --docdir=/usr/share/doc/mpfr-3.1.1 \* * --with-gmp=/usr* works fine for me.
