Sorry, I was not exact and complete enough: when I boot LXF7.4, I cannot reach 
internet.
And the build of LFS7.4 gave the aforementioned error.
When I boot into LFS7.3: no problem (and no errors in the build, while the two 
sources are identical!).
Maybe I should compare the two builds more closely. I will try that.
