I would not copy those files.   I know that if you follow the instructions and 
complete them correctly everything works.  If you are having issues it is 
something that you did or didn't do.  Copying the files may help with your 
problem but it not the correct thing to do.   The correct thing is to find out 
what/where/when you went wrong and correct that.

I am still working with LFS-7.5, I have my bash script working and now I am on 
to adding the rpm package manager.  Yes It has taken this long to fix my 
errors.  Ahem....I found a few stupid mistakes on my part, but I think I am 
good now....we will see in about a weeks time.
