I was trying to install the latest version but I'm getting the following error after typing ./configure
--- configure: creating ./config.status config.status: creating Makefile config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in ---
I don't know what such a message means, because there is a file called Makefile.in in the directory where ./configure was launched. Can you give me some advice?
I'm compiling it on a RedHat8 workstation with everything relatively standard on it.
