Hi Akshay,

What I usually do is to use the --verbose option which outputs the modifications list (which could be use for further process on downloaded files), and empty string in case of no modification.

Could be also adapted to your needs.

Merry Christmas!

I don't know if it would be useful, but mirror has --on-change
option to run a script after mirroring which produced a change.

       Hi All,

I want to know how many new files are added after mirror command
has completed. I am going to run the lftp command through java
code using runtime exec() call. Does lftp command provide some
special exit status code when mirror succeeds but no new files
       are added.
if not can you suggest some way of knowing when mirror command
       produces no new files.

       Thanks,
       Akshay
