Students of the Social Communications Media Department at the Sophia
Polytechnic, Peddar Road, Mumbai have made 4 documentaries this year,
including one on homosexuality called 'enGAYging Lives' (partly funded by
the Humsafar Trust) and another on CSA. Some of the people featuring in the
docus are your friends on these groups. For people interested in the effects
of partition, on Sindhi culture and language, in particular, or those who
are concerned about our disappearing languages, I am told there is also a
docu called 'Sindhustani'.
The docus are showing back-to-back on 25-28 February at their institute.
