Vacancy for *a Resource Mobiliser*

*Full time experienced person*

Aneka is a human rights organisation working mainly with sexual minorities,
sexworkers and PLHIV (People Living with HIV). Our work includes action
research, human rights advocacy, support for community-based organisations
and supporting campaigns

We are looking for a *resource mobiliser* for our projects.

 *Role*

The role of a *Resource Mobiliser *is to raise awareness on issues of
working class sexual minorities and sex workers , with a range of people
and organisations and inspire them to contribute resources as well as
become financial supporters of these communities. This will range from
individuals and organisations, to corporations and foundations.

 *Responsibilities*

·         Develop an understanding of our work.

·         Explain our work and issues of the communities we work with in a
clear and interesting way.

·         Write proposals and concept notes to raise funds

·         Establish, develop and maintain relationships with current  and
prospective supporters

·         Sustain our intern and volunteer programme

·         Develop a system to tap individual supporters/donors

 *Skills required*

We accept applications from people from a variety of backgrounds. A passion
to work on issues around sexuality (sex work and sexual minorities) and *at
least five years work experience with any human rights and social justice
oriented organisation/movement.*



Candidates must  also have:

·         Proven track record in raising resources

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

·         Ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with a
wide range of people

·          Ability to follow up and be meticulous in planning and
implementation

·         *Advantage*: Ability to speak  any South Indian language

·         *Advantage* Ability to use of social media for social change
