Hello, Miles, There have been a few bugfixes and other stuff written over the past year or two, and I've been meaning to find some time to put together a new release but haven't been able to yet. If anyone else has the time and wants to manage a new release please contact me. > > Also, the following is a patch I wrote to add handling for "object > chunks" (HIDDEN etc); I originally sent this to the debian lib3ds > maintainer, but he seem to have disappeared: > Thanks! Can you post this to the patch tracker on sourceforge? Then it won't disappear either :) > BTW, compiling lib3ds with gcc-4.1 resulted in a non-working library > (lots of strange problems, basically it didn't parse 3ds files > correctly). Compiling with gcc-3.3 worked fine. Some of these problems are understood but maybe not all of them. If you are able to figure anything out about it that would be helpful.
