I have installed the SDL but it configure does not recognize it

/usr/include/SDL/SDL.h
/usr/local/include/SDL/SDL.h
[EMAIL PROTECTED] lib3dsUltimo =P] locate libSDL.a
/home/azael/SDL-1.2.11/build/.libs/libSDL.a
/usr/lib/libSDL.a
/usr/local/lib/libSDL.a
I must config configure of some form.
