Basically you want to spawn a subproject for the msvc support, I'm
trying to get a balance over it trying to not restrict us too much and
getting the feature in place.
Would be nice set a 5k bounty over it, get that money to whoever is
willing to spend time to automagically preprocess the c99 code and
result in msvc compiled binaries that can be somehow debugged easily.
(so our source won't be restricted by arbitrary constraints)
Sadly that's not the case so we sort of try to find a middle ground over
something that for somebody is just an annoying bourden.
I prefer to keep the compat/ dir and hopefully not have it grow so big
it would spinoff.
