Is your timestamp filed properly set in the rtp packets?? VLC is very keen on it . Also see to it that your buffer size is not more than 65000 Bytes.

Now I am able to use ffplay to view the rtp stream at 224.1.1:12005, but for some reason I couldn't use VLC to see the rtp stream. Any suggestions?
