Has anyone had any luck using av_open_input_stream? I'm asking because there is basically no documentation about the function, and I haven't found any information about someone succesfully using it. The only pattern of code that I've seen more often is the one in http://www.taoframework.com/node/599. But that is not working for me at least.
Does anyone have any info (or knows a link) on what the functions av_probe_input_format, init_put_byte, av_open_input_stream exactly do? If anyone has had any success, would you be so kind to share your knowledge? Thank you very much to all.
