I don't know. But the mp4_save function (in app_mp4) using libmp4v2 do create an mp4 with a-law in it. Dump from mp4info: mp4info version 1.6 save.mp4: Track Type Info 1 audio G.711 aLaw, 25.980 secs, 64 kbps, 8000 Hz 2 hint Payload PCMA for track 1 So that it is (technically) possible is evident. Of course, I can't find anything that can play it :) But the mp4_play function (of app_mp4) needs this specific setup :( /Rob -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Allowable-formats-in-containers-tp23717836p23719485.html Sent from the libav-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ libav-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mplayerhq.hu/mailman/listinfo/libav-user
