Hi list,

I am trying to write a program that captures a video
from a webcam (Logitech Quickcam Messenger) which
is connected at /dev/video1 to my machine (Ubuntu 9.04).
I know that the camera is working, because
'ffmpeg -f video4linux2 -s 640x480 -r 25 -i /dev/video1 -an -vcodec
mpeg4 -flags 4mv out.avi'
works with the work around LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l2convert.so.

But when I try to open the device, using this workaround, via
'av_open_input_file' with the input format
specified to video4linux2 I get the following error messages:
[video4linux2 @ 0x91c5620][3]Capabilities: 5000001
[video4linux2 @ 0x91c5620]The V4L2 driver ioctl set
standard(1^PTRh'h 'QVhlUS=) failed

Can anyone help me solving this problem?
