this is my first post to the list, I hope you can help me :)
I would like to know if the ffmpeg library can help me with the following:
I have a video file, and for a specific time, lets say second t, I must
know which bytes must be available in order to play until that second.
For example: I am streaming a video file in blocks, and I know that
blocks 0 until 5 are already available. I want to know if second 3 is
ready to play. I must know which block corresponds to second 3, and for
that I must know which bytes must be available in order to play the file
until second 3.
For a fixed bitrate the calculation is easy, but for a variable one?
