Hi there,

I'm experiencing some issues with libavcodec, and MP3 decoding.
On one side, I'm using liveMedia RTSP server to stream MP3 / WAV files
through my local network.
A year from now, I coded a small RTSP client to receive those streams, and I
managed to decode these frames with libav perfectly.

Right now, it seems I can't decode frames anymore, I receive tons of issues,
here is a small sample :

[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]incorrect frame size
Last message repeated 2 times
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]mdb:299, lastbuf:247 skipping granule 0
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]incorrect frame size
Last message repeated 1 times
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]mdb:299, lastbuf:247 skipping granule 0
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]incorrect frame size
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]mdb:315, lastbuf:289 skipping granule 0
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]incorrect frame size
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]mdb:321, lastbuf:316 skipping granule 0
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]incorrect frame size
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]overread, skip -7 enddists: -3 -3
[mp3 @ 0x9fbe990]overread, skip -7 enddists: -4 -4

All I hear is random noise at the end (I'm using PortAudio to playback those
decoded samples), and at some point, PortAudio will just crash...
That's disturbing, because players like VLC, Mplayer can play this stream
perfectly.

Any idea about what's going on here ?
By the way, are there some probing tools available into libav*, to parse
buffers and "guess" formats ?

Thanks in advance for your insights,

Best regards,
Guillaume.
