Hello, Does anyone have good suggestions on how to perform frame accurate seeking with libav-user and H.264 (x264)?
av_seek_frame seems to give something near the timestamp I provided (I guess the nearest keyframe). However, with some MP4 files I cannot determine if a decoded frame is a key frame (AVFrame->key_frame is always false). It also seems that the AVPacket->pts and AVPacket->dts values seems to vary from file to file. Therefore I don't know how to use them to resolve the exact frame number I am decoding. Is it possible to implement frame accurate seeking with av_seek_frame?
