Hi,

I'm using Windows autobuild libav libs to link to my BitrateViewer tool and I normally decide to link new libav releases only on release changes of my own program. Now that's such a moment and I realized that the latest builds don't work well with two functions:

    av_find_stream_info (no stream information found)
    avcodec_find_decoder (codec not found)

The test files on which I get such an error are MPEG2-VOB files (PAL 25fps) that are solely slide-shows and their associated menu VOB files created myself with DVDlab Pro 2. My BitrateViewer is designed to open a frame reader function on those files. Other standard VOB files and a mixed variant of slide-show and motion video VOB does work fine.

The latest build that works with all of the above is:
ffmpeg-r22716-swscale-r30965 of Mar 29, 2010; files and versions:
    avformat-52.dll 52.58.0
    avcodec-52.dll 52.61.0
    avdevice-52.dll 52.2.0
    avutil-50.dll 50.13.0
    swscale-0.dll 0.10.0

I've loaded several newer builds on a binary search/load/compile/fail base:
    ffmpeg-r22888 of Apr 16, 2010
    ffmpeg-r22898 of Apr 17, 2010
    ffmpeg r22918 of Apr 20, 2010
    ffmpeg r22960 of Apr 25, 2010
    ffmpeg r23008 of May 2, 2010
    ffmpeg r23501 of June 6, 2010
    ffmpeg r24856 of Aug 21, 2010
All of them return the same errors specified above. In one of the README files in these newer builds I've found a change note that VOB stream feature was added but the version specifier in there did not lead me to any meaningful source location or date of change. I'm libav user only, linking to my code, not libav developer.

So I hope there is someone out who can help me out ;-)

Cheers, Konran
