Hi, We are using libav library for mpeg2 encoding. Time taken to convert YUV (1024x768) to mpeg2 is shown below.
*GOP* *Number Of Raw Images Processed* *Size Of File Generated(KB)* *Encoding Time(ms)* 1 1 72 47 12 12 458 648 When we give GOP =12, we are getting the encoding time around 648ms. Is the encoding time correct? How much time does encoding usually takes for GOP=12. Is there any thing we have to do for improving the encoding time?
