Hopefully this is the right place to report libcanberra bugs, I couldn't
find mention of a bugzilla on the libcanberra homepage.

I've got bit of an enhancement request for libcanberra's gtk module. With
libcanberra, the sound effect for window events like maximize seem to be
started *after* the window is resized. This seems a little laggy - it's most
noticeable on desktops with compiz enabled, where the window will maximize
in an animated way, and then when the animation finishes, the sound effect
will start. So you could have a nice whoosy sound to go with some
over-the-top flying window animation, but the sound starts after the
animation and ruins the effect! It'd be much nicer if the sound started
playback immediately after you hit the maximize button, so that it plays
during any window animation.

I also wanted to say that I think libcanberra is a fantastic, much needed
addition to the linux desktop. Keep up the great work!
