libcanberra-0.10 configure.ac has AM_ICONV to check for lots of things related to libiconv. However, I don't see any of its results used anywhere in the canberra sources. My 'grep -lri iconv' only finds the tests themselves. Is this a remnant of an older implementation of something, or for possible future use? Either way, if it's not needed *now*, could comment it out for now?
