Hi Folks, When we started this project in 2008, we had named it libcg after Control Groups. However soon after we realized that there was already a libCG which would cause issues. With that, we decided to rename the project libcgroup. However, our project url is still http://libcg.sourceforge.net and the mailing list is libcg-de...@.
Now, I have realized there is an option in the sourceforge website to rename the project. With this, we can actually have the real name for the project. But this change means, that the libcg names will be lost immediately and there is no overlap period to have both names. So, do we change the name and get the right names, or do we stick with the older name? Personally, I am ambivalent, because while I like the right name, I don't want to go through the pain of losing patches and such, since the mailing list addresses have changed. Let me know what you think, and maybe by end of this week or so, we can decide what to do. Thanks and regards!
