Hi, I've finished fiddling with the firebird driver. The code now apparently works on FreeBSD and on Debian, and it should work both with Firebird 1.5.3 (only a few tests) and with Firebird 2.0.3 (full set of tests). I've also added a short documentation about the driver's peculiarities.
There are still a few rough spots where I'm not sure whether we're doing the right thing. Therefore I'd greatly appreciate if everyone with a little spare time on his/her hands could go and check the current cvs version of libdbi-drivers.
